Frito Lay wanted to link Ruffles to that “rock and roll party” feeling, with a snapshot of after-party atmosphere. With a free hand in creating the atmosphere, the animators had lots of fun with it! And did you notice the Ruffles brand appears in every single shot from the 3rd second onward? You may call it “subliminal”, but it works.
